Corn Gluten is a non-selective, organic, pre-emergent herbicide and slow release organic fertilizer for the control of broadleaf weeds, and annual and perennial grasses. It can be used on the lawn as well as around flower, vegetable and herb gardens and crops, annual and perennial plants, bulbs, roses, fruit, ornamental and shade trees and shrubs. Corn Gluten controls weed seeds by releasing organic dipeptides into the soil and inhibiting root formation of germinating weeds. Apply Corn Gluten before weed seeds germinate then water thoroughly. Reapply in 4-6 weeks.

Crabgrass

Dimension works very well for crabgrass and often provides season long control with one application. It also provides post emergence control of crabgrass when the plants are first visible and are at the 2-3 leaf stage with no more than two tillers. Apply mid-March to mid-May.
